Happy New Year 2025!
Since relaunching in June last year Bondi Innovation has gone from strength to strength, running over 20 events with over 800 attendees, and growing our new community site to over 170 members!
An especially big thanks to our premium members, who are central to making this all possible, and get event discounts and more in return! If you’re not a member please register for our free or premium memberships.
We have big plans for 2025! First new initiative is Bondi AI Collective for the AI builders and explorers in our community. Come to our launch event 12 February!
Our monthly Walk & Talk is on 31 January, always fun.

Bondi AI Collective launch event - Wednesday 12 February
Bondi region boasts an amazing community of AI innovators. We are kicking off Bondi AI Collective to enable connection and collaboration among these wonderful people.
Each event will feature tutorials, practical insights, and insightful demos. The content is positioned for AI builders, so sometimes technical, but we’ll try to make it accessible to those earlier on their journey.
Our first event will feature a brief sessions from Ross Dawson on AI Agents in 2025, Steffen Wilhelm on building agentic systems, and more TBC! We’ll be building the community from here.

Enjoy the big outdoors with inspiring entrepreneurs as we walk to Tamarama and back on one of the most famous paths in the world, talking entrepreneurship, life and community.

Bondi innovator story: Selode.AI
Jeremy Saunders works with a Sydney-based team of quantitative modellers and scientists, building enterprise-grade AI tools for small and medium-sized businesses. After two years of development, we have finally launched https://selode.ai/.
We’re super proud and excited to bring the world’s first compact and completely offline AI device designed for business to market, and it was built right here in Sydney. It’s designed to empower businesses to leverage powerful AI tools without the inherent data, legal, and IP risks inherent to cloud-based solutions. We have named this device the Selode Mother Box (our hardware partner is Dell). The Mother Box can handle up to 100 users concurrently, and the device is about the size of a tissue box.
We also have an enterprise product, where we integrate directly within private cloud environments, whether it’s AWS, Azure etc. This is scalable to tens of thousands of users. Data remains on-premise and private, with unmatched cost efficiency.
