We are very excited to announce our inaugural Innovation Breakfast on Creating Value in Corporate-Startup Relationships, featuring the top players in Australia, accounting for over $1.5 billion in startup investments.

Creating Value in Corporate-Startup Relationships - 22 August

This will be big! Our first Innovation Breakfast is aimed at ambitious startups, investors, and corporates. It will be our largest scale event since our Christmas party.

Our top-tier panel includes Todd Forest, the Founder of the $200 million NAB Ventures, Matt Koertge, Managing Partner of Titanium Ventures (Telstra Ventures until its rename last month) which has made 100 investments with over $1.35 billion under management, and Karen Lawson, former CEO of Slingshot Ventures, which has run startup programs for Qantas, HCF, News Australia, Lion, ING, Caltex and others.

The panel will dig into how both corporates and startups can get the most value from working together to scale faster and achieve global impact.

Coastal Walk & Talk 26 July

Join us at our next monthly Coastal Walk & Talk event tomorrow! 25 already registered. Here is a pic from last month.

Next Bondi Pitch Club on 31 July!

The last event was fabulous! We had to close registrations at 95 and fortunately the rain meant we didn’t have to turn people away at the door. Check out the event review including a video and congrats to the winner Steve Lewis of Nabu.ai!

Bondi Pitch Club is usually first Wednesday of the month, for this event we have moved forward one week to 31 July since organiser Tibo Roumagoux is away. After that back to first Wednesdays.

What: 2min pitches from founders and people with ideas, along with a few drinks and valuable insights from the startup community.

Generative AI Leaders Lunch - 5 August

After the success of our previous Generative AI Leaders events, we are growing again to run our fourth Generative AI Leaders Lunch on 5 August, supported by AWS.  

Join other generative AI leaders for punchy presentations from Sydney’s top GenAI leaders and dynamic, focused conversations about current and emerging issues in Gen AI and its applications. Participants will include:

  • ​Founders and investors

  • ​Corporate leaders and innovators

  • ​Developers and practitioners.

Speakers sharing lessons learned from the GenAI startup frontlines include Annie Liao of Build Club and Relevance AI and Adam Ginsburg, Founder of Buzzy.

Note that this is NOT a learning event for those with a general interest in generative AI, it is for those at the forefront of the space.
