Help us get an innovation precinct in Bondi Junction!

Bondi Innovation has long agitated for an innovation precinct in Bondi Junction. You can help make that happen!

Waverley Council has just released its rapidly-created draft Bondi Junction Vision and Master Plan. It is OK on the issues it covers, but the mayor has acknowledged that it doesn’t well address the potential of business, employment, jobs, innovation, and startups.

The community has been invited to give their feedback. We need to ensure the plan addresses the amazing potential of innovation, startups, and creative industries in Bondi region.

PLEASE take a few minutes to complete the form. In your own words say what you think the vision should include. That might be attracting technology and creative employers and jobs, coworking spaces, event venues, research centres, initiatives to attract world-class talent, accelerator programs, an innovation precinct, or other things.

If you want inspiration you can look at our Bondi Junction Innovation Precinct Vision documents, but really just in a few lines say what you think would be exciting and transformative in supporting innovation in Bondi!

Entrepreneurs Christmas Party - Tuesday 9 Dec

Our annual Entrepreneurs Christmas Party is always the highlight of the year, don’t miss it!

People come from far and wide, this was big even before it moved to Bondi 9 years ago.

An all-star panel on AI-Accelerated Startups will kick off proceeds, extending into fun, festivities and celebration with wonderful entrepreneurs and independent professionals.

Bondi AI Collective events - Tuesday 11 Nov

The Bondi AI Collective and the very dynamic Bondi AI WhatsApp group is going from strength to strength, it’s a fabulous community!

Our special guest this month is Zay Yang of Wordflow, who will share on AI in marketing, lessons learned from the AI startup frontline, and AI venture strategy insights.

Also stay tuned for our last event of the year, where we will collectively review the year in AI and together make AI predictions for 2026 that we will publish!

Bondi coworking space: Express Your Interest!

Easts Group and Bondi Innovation are looking into establishing a one-day a week coworking space at Waverley Greens.

It features great spaces for working, hanging out, and connecting. The plan includes a weekly 'Lunch and Learn' session on useful business, innovation, and community topics and other ways to connect locals.

This will only happen if enough people express interest! So if this sounds good be sure to express your interest.

Walk & Talk - Friday 14 Nov

What a wonderful time of year for a walk!! Enjoy the big outdoors with inspiring entrepreneurs as we walk to Tamarama and back on one of the most famous paths in the world, talking entrepreneurship, life and community.

Bondi Innovation is looking for an awesome Events/ community/ partnerships manager!

It is time to get Bondi Innovation to the next level! We want to add more great events to our schedule, create more value for our premium members, get sponsors and partners involved, build the brand, and do more to support local innovators on their journey!

To do this we need someone special to help drive it. This is a part-time role that will suit someone with other projects on who is keen to play a central role in our small team and the Bondi innovation community.
